What is a Dental Emergency?

If you’re experiencing extreme pain, excessive bleeding, or an injury resulting in a loose or knocked out tooth, these situations are considered dental emergencies and should be taken care of right away.

What to Do in a Dental Emergency

Staying calm is the most important thing you can do when you suffer a dental injury, along with treating it immediately. Call immediately if the following situations: knocked out tooth, partially dislodged tooth, injury to gums or jaw, uncontrolled or persistent bleeding, or swelling.
